John-

Based on my conversations w/ Soren, yes -- the capacitor change is the only
way the clock will run correctly.

Soren offered to send us the parts, or send it back, but since we
create a lot of our own custom boards (TI DSP based) we had the 2 caps
in stock and we've got a few guys that are good surface mount solderers.

So it was great that w/in hours we had a fix.

If you know someone who works on board level hardware w/ decent soldering
equipment, it's a simple (5 minute) fix and the parts cost is negligable.

It's a bummer to send stuff back and fourth, but that's your safest bet
since you'll know you'll get back a working board done properly etc.

Best of luck w/ whatever you end up doing.
