Hi, I'm having trouble booting my new net5501:
- I get trown off the serial line while entering input during POST - the warm reboot / DMA error (4) I know that the second one has already been solved, that's why I wanted to upgrade to comBIOS 1.32i, but a long as cu(1) exits at every character I enter during POST, that will prove quite a challenge. I don't know if the first problem has been addressed as well, I don't have much time to dive very deep into it it out right now, but here: http://stsx.xs4all.nl/5501boot.html is at least an overview of the various output messages. Interesting note: if I use the very same cable/computer/[Ubuntu]OS/login session and cu(1) version (i.e. the exact same setup), I have no trouble at all with my net4801. A quick Net Scan for "soekris cu got hangup signal" and "soekris serial disconnect" revealed nothing relevant so far. Any suggestions?
