Sorry, the last message was at a new thread.  As a consequence of
a mistake on the configuration of the nmh mail user agent some lines
were dropped.  I suppose that it is fixed right now.

As I said, you are right and the remote reboot (and poweroff) feature
shown on that thread is a superb workaround.  However, if I understand
the goal of the "80 81 f0 ff" sequence a PXE boot, and monitor access,
should be possible for machines with drives that do not have boot sectors.

Perhaps I am wrong here and its goal is just PXE boot diskless computers.
