This issue is a bit controversial: some are convinced that CF cards are far beyond that stage these days, but I saw an Apacer card - definitley not a cheapo - slowly but steadily go down the drain only this year. Room for debate, of which this list has probably seen enough (on this topic, I mean..;). I run OpenBSD with an MFS partition mounted onto /var, and it works perfectly for me. I wrote a shell script which I more or less published (= announced on the OpenBSD misc list) about a year ago, maybe someone would like to adapt it for Linux: http://stsx.xs4all.nl/www.stsx.org/index.html#obsd (There's a bl**** nice review as well;) Bill > Antoine > > 2007/12/14, Jason Wright <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > I didn't see any instructions for installing Ubuntu server on the > > wiki, so I wrote the following: > > > > http://www.scc.mi.org/peewee/ubuntu_7.04_soekris_net4801.html > > > > This covers installing to a CF card with debootstrap.
