I have a 4801 with an internal 80GB HDD which I use as a firewall (and
run torrent clients) and a 5501 with a internal and external 250GB disks
as a mirror which I uses as a server and have had no issues with either
overheating or noise ... I've had the 80GB drive in the 4801 for about
two years and the pair of 250GB drives since January this year - both
systems are up 24x7 and apart from some initial USB speed issues with
the 5501 I've not had problems since ...

Regards,
Malcolm
