Will appreciate very much your thoughts about this idea I got since a couple of days. I've been thinking putting together a nice compact green NAS server based on FreeNAS. I thought using the net4526 because of the 2 mini pci sockets, which combined with 1/2 Avantec sata adapters could accommodate up to 4 sata hard drives. Besides finding or making a suitable enclosure case for this 'experiment', could anyone advise or point me to any source where I could find out how to power all this together? Does anybody know of any power supply that could be small, safe and efficient to cope with up to 4 sata hard drives plus the board itself?
