Hello What do you think, (maybe someone has an experience with?), about WiFi mini-PCI from Ubiquiti model SR71-A in Soekris net5501? This is HIGH power miniPCI card on Atheros chipset. Quick spec:
- 32-bit mini-PCI Type IIIA/3.3 V DC - Max Avg. Current Consumption: 1.25A, +/-100mA (!!!!) here us link to product description http://www.ubnt.com/products/sr71a.php What about power consumption - could I feed 1.25 A + 0.1 A 3.3 V from mini-PCI? (with PCI slot occupied by standard , four-port PCI card from Soekris). Will it work with Soekris net5501? One more question: how can I attached Antenna (assuming standard Soekris case for 5501?) This card has three MMCX port.
