I have a funny problem with a net4521 booting FreeBSD7.2-RELEASE-p5.
When booting by applying power to the device first time the boot process
stops at:
"pci0: <PCI bus> on pcib0"
Rebooting by a quick power off/on works fine: the device boots beyond
this point.
("cbb0: <TI1420 PCI-CardBus Bridge> mem 0xa0000000-0xa0000fff irq 10 at
device 17.0 on pci0
etc.").
- If I leave the power off for a longer period the problem occurs
again.
- I have tested the same cf-card in another net4521, without problems.
- I have tested another cf-card in this same box: same problem.
- BIOS has been updated (1.33).
- There are no pcmcia or mini-pci cards installed during these tests.
- Startup messages, see below
