If you use one card you can use one antenna (for two ssid's). If you
want to you can connect two (sector-) antennas using a splitter, but
this rarely makes sense, you only have some additional loss in the
splitter. Usually you can get the same coverage area by using an
appropriate antenna-type (e.g. an omni).
