Okay, I'm playing around with these settings now to see what I can do.  I 
REALLY wish the documentation were better because it's hard to find some of the 
needed info.

But now another issue comes up, of course!

I'll start another thread for it, but the issue is that I'm using that SanDisk 
CF card I described before, the same as the one Soekris sells, and I get half 
way through the Debian and it gets to drive detection and does not detect any 
hard drive!  I'm still experimenting with some of your settings to see what I 
can do that might effect it.

I went through all this 3 years ago -- and it turned out when I was really 
stuck, I finally figured I should search for those emails from back then.  It 
was the same issue, which came from lack of good documentation.  But, 
unfortunately, I didn't have the same trouble with the CF cards, so I don't 
know yet what to do there.
