Thanks; I did see that page, however the SSD (as 80) _is_ the first
entry that I have in my BootDrive parameter, and it normally works
fine.  What isn't clear from that page is why these systems were
trying to DHCP boot in this case.

I'm *guessing* that perhaps, for whatever reason, the SSD was taking
longer to get into a "ready" state where the 5501 would recognise it,
the 5501 timed out, and tried 81 and F0.  However, I was hoping for
some indication as to the accuracy of this guess (or insight into
other factors).

If that is indeed what was going on, it's also not clear to me
what kind of timeout exists for each BootDrive slot, and what 
happens when the last of four slots is tried and failed?  Does it
cycle back to the first one or drop into the combios prompt?
