Hi folks, I just want a clarification on using flashrd if you will - flashrd will prep an existing OpenBSD install for use on a compact flash, so what you really *should* do is use it on an install of OBSD that's only the cleanest of installs, shouldn't you?
1.) For example, I have an install of OBSD as a virtual box (inside VMware workstation), but I have a lot of installed software and other stuff installed...so I probably wouldn't want to use that as my base OS with flashrd, right? 2.) I'm thinking what I should do is create a new virtual machine and then do a clean install of OBSD. Connect my compact flash (via USB flash adapter) to the new install and then use THAT as the OS that will get installed on my compact flash. Is that the smart thing to do??? Does that sound like it would work O.K.? Thank you, Ed _______________________________________________ Soekris-tech mailing list [email protected] http://lists.soekris.com/mailman/listinfo/soekris-tech
