Hello Philip, I am using also net5501, the Os is FBSD8.2 (NanoBSD)
on a 1GB CF and also I have a 500GB SATA HDD I use my soekris for
several things. Route/NAT/Firewall - IDS, I have also a bittorrent
client, aircarck suite and some network audit utilities. it also
works as my jukebox via MPD. all the music is stored on the HDD , I am
only using an small part of the HDD as rw, for the dinamic nees of
MPD, the databases an so on. But as soon as I had copied all the music
I mount everything as ro. I love my soekris :-)!
