I'm less optimistic on that point. I have a Lexar Pro 1GB that works well in my 5501, and a Lexar Pro 2GB that has never quite worked right. The problems were subtle enough that it took me about a year of using it to figure out it was the CF card causing them. The card works fine in the handful of other machines I've tried it in.
