The standard net5501 case and the standard 2.5" mounting bracket will 
accommodate only a 9.5mm drive, not a 15mm drive.  As to cooling, 
Michael may be right, but I've been running a number of net5501's with 
internal 2.5" drives for years without fans or additional venting 
without any problems.
