The net5501 currently have the 2.5" drive atop the board, and there is neither space nor cooling for a 15mm high powered drive, but: The net6501 standard case have the 2.5" drives, two 9.5mm or one 15mm, next to the board, so you can mount either drives or use the PCIe slot. The case have better cooling but also supports a small 30mm fan if needed. The 19" 1U rackmount case for the net5501 still have the single drive on top of the board but the additional height would mean there is space for a 15mm drive, while the net6501 19" 1U case have space for both two 2.5" drives and expansion slots. Both have space for an optional 40mm fan. The first net6501-50 production boards are here, just need a little last minute rework, we will start shipping next week. The net6501 standard case is a few weeks out. The net5501 19" 1U case will also shipping next week, the net6501 19" 1U case is a few more weeks out. If you want to use an enterprise drive you would want a net6501....
