Hi all So it has happened :( My Soekris net5501 bit the dust yesterday. I attached a DB9 connector from my vt320 while the system was running and *blipp* all lights on the soekris went out.
I've done this many times before without problems, perhaps I was lucky then or unlucky now :/ What do you think ? So, my walwart seems alright and provides 12V. An measuring between + and ground on the soekris board gives 10 or so volts. I think it is possible to feed the soekris on the JP10 header, would this make any difference? or is it the same wires as the external connector?
