USB boot is what I'm waiting for ;) My 6501/50 procured for evaluation runs quite well off an Intel uSATA SSD (INTEL SSDMAESC020G2 2CV102M5) @ FreeBSD 8.2 at the moment but these SSD are currently way too expensive for deployment. I regret that the 6501 doesn't have micro-SD or similar but I respect your decisions regarding design and manufacture -- we've accumulated a fairly large bin of Soekris to be scrapped for obsolescense but none for hardware failure.
