if you mean it is a must be, to have, to boot from a SD / CF card and the PCIe 
slot is not in use (standard case) it will be perhaps a solution to install a 
CF card adapter shown in the link of the next line. The CF card will be 
accessible from the outside of the case and if you own a soekris 19" case it 
doesn't matter because you have also a second slot. The cost of the adapter is 
~ 20,00 €

If the cost is to high or the PCIe slot is in use perhaps also better to wait 
for the fixed bios with usb boot option, to use mini usb stick with 4 or 8 GB.
