Hello all, Does anyone know on the Net5501 what voltage levels both serial ports use for their outputs/TXD? I'm pretty sure the first serial port uses TI model 'MAX3243C'. Of the second I'm not sure but I suspect it to be National model '87366fg r/k1'. Nonetheless, even with this information I have a hard time interpreting the data in their manuals.
The main issue is that I need to connect (preferably) the second serial to a device which is 5 volt tolerant on its input/RXD. Therefore I need to be sure the Net5501 serial port doesn't fry my precious device I put the signal into. Does anyone have some more information on this?
