Hello Thank you for your reply.
Yes I have left the box off power for a while but that did not help either. Now if I plug it into power again after more than a day off, the same happens. I also tried to use the power cable of by second net6501-30 but there the same happens I also removed the SSD and tried to power on but that didn't help either. -------------------------------------------- Jim Pingle <[email protected]> schrieb am Do, 30.10.2014: Betreff: Re: [Soekris] PS: After pfsense update error LED constantly on and network LEDs flashing An: "Jherek Carnelian" <[email protected]>, [email protected] Datum: Donnerstag, 30. Sometimes my net6501 will do that after a reboot and I have to remove power for 30s-1m or so and then plug it back in and it's fine. It's not likely related to the OS update but to the fact that it was rebooted. Latent hardware issues tend to pop up during a reboot and often get blamed on OS updates when it was really bad luck/timing. There was another time that it lit the error LED at bootup because the disk was failing (or at least replacing the disk let it start again).
