Thanks to all that replied.

I saw that overheating issue, but since the start I had it cool using a pci 
slot blower. I was not icy cold, but not hot as it would be if there was no air 
expelling strategy. Funny or not, I was installing a Heatsink on the metal 
plate when it died.

I will read about uManager, but I think this board will sleep deep for the next 
couple of months. And now I thank God soekris cancelled the 6801 board, cause I 
was about to pre-order one last year when I went to the US.

If anyone knows a replacement for it, please share. Its my home router, so 
can't be too pricy. If the net5501 dies the same way, I will order APU2 from 
pcengines and hope for the best. Does it have bat reputation on dying as well?
