hi,
it's been a while that I'm trying to get sofia working on my pc.
I've tried with both fedora core 4 and core 5 but nothing seems to work.
Sofia Stack Sip compiles correctly, so I've tried to compile gst
plugin for gaim and everything seems to work fine (
e.g. i can chat via
Sofia SIP) but when I try to set up a voip call, after sending the
invite, the called gaim crashes.
I've also tried to compile sofia_cli and it compiles correctly but
when I write the command:
sofsip_cli --media-impl=gstreamer sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
it always shows:
** Message: Selecting media implementation: dummy
does anyone know what it means?
Could you tell me the right packages that I've to use? (doesn't matter
that they are for fedora core 4 or 5) and, if you can, where I can
find them.
I have one more question: with sofsip_cli it's possible to establish a
call according to RFC3312? I saw that sofia SIP is compliant to that
RFC, but i don't know if it's possible to do this that via sofsip_cli
or I have to write my own client.
thank you and sorry for all these questions :)
best regards
luca
