I tried to use sofia-sip and port it to the embedded system. So the memory footprint is one of my major concerns. In version 1.11.7 or before, there is flag HAVE_SIGCOMP, but this flag is removed in the later release. Since I don't need functionality like this, I'd prefer to keep this flag so that I could compile it out in the future.
I understand the sofia-sip supports a large number of standards, which is a good thing, but that also grows its size. I hope that my concern could be taken into consideration in the future.
