I have no personal experience with the ESS Time Machine, other than studying the schematic.

ESS time Machine is not designed good. It is necessary to have an power divider at the input of two mixer. Realization in schematic will degrade performances of mixer very much .The simple solution is 3 times 15-18 Ohm resistors connected in star configuration or divider in phase like PSC2-1. The same situation is in transmit configuration it is necessary to change R19 ,R20 to about 470 Ohm and R21 decrease to 100 Ohm potentiometer to avoid possibility to the self oscillations of some sound card outputs .
