Wouldn't it be far easier to change the crystal, and a couple of the 
caps so it's at 4X the center frequency of the window he wants. Of 
course you also need to change the band-pass components and make it a 
low-pass filter. A low-pass at those frequencies would be easier than 
a band-pass filter

Make the changes as you build it.

I fail to see why doing the same thing over and over and getting the 
same results every time is insanity: I've almost proved it isn't; 
only a few more tests now and I'm sure results will differ this time 
...
