The successor to the SR-40 has been designed , tested, and is ready for sale. This is particularly good news if you were not able to get a SR-40.
This version is more frequency agile because of two issues, the frequency determining part is a plug-in board, and the crystal required is at the frequency of interest. You no longer have to get crystals at 4X the desired frequency.
