Exactly my feeling. I tried to use M$oft Visual C V6, but the only
result was a complete disdain and repulsion for the MFC platform.
I use Borland C++Builder V6, which is a true "Visual" compiler, not a
joke like the Microsoft one, whose only "Visual" attribute is in the name.
I never tried the new .NET platform, I hope (for them) that they have
bettered that aspect. I have downloaded the free version of the new
Visual Studio, together with NET2, but haven't found yet the time to
install and give it a test. Have you examined it?
