Hello Jose,

>Is it specific/exclusive to the AF band of direct conversion modules?
No if you have some AF band between 0 to 20 KHz, the demodulator can isolate
any transmission. In a DSB RX (direct conversion receiver) the bandwidth can be
equal to +/- 20 KHz (so 40 KHz at the total) because the negative side is
folded in the positive side and in this type of receiver you may have, as my
DSB RX, a simple quartz to pilot the RX frequency. In that case, this program
permits to explore +/-20 KHz around the quartz frequency (7.00 to 7.04 MHz,
for example). And if in the future, we have 196 samples/sec sound cards, it
will be +/- 98 KHz (7.0 to 7.2 MHz, for example), without any VFO.

>What about the AF band of other receivers (heterodyne?)
In general in an heterodyne RX, the 455 KHz (for example) final intermediate
frequency is filtered at about 3 ou 4 KHz. In that case, the MultiDem program
is useless.

conversion receivers)

  Hello, Patrick

  Great news*****
Congratulations and thanks for sharing your developments ;-))

Is it specific/exclusive to the AF band of direct conversion modules?

What about the AF band of other receivers (heterodyne?)

  Hello to all,

Only for information (as it not really related to Sdr but to direct direct
  conversion receivers).
The first release of MULTIDEM (1.0) is in my Web site (http://f6cte.free.fr).

MULTIDEM 1.0 is a USB/LSB/AM demodulator for direct conversion receivers
  available from my WEB site.
  This program ("freeware") permits to:

  - extract any USB, LSB or AM transmission present in the AF band of a direct
conversion receiver, up to 20 Khz,

  - to band-pass filter the received signal,

  - afterwards, to forward it to amplified loudspeakers and to MULTIPSK 4.1 (for
  decoding) through a TCP/IP link.

Note: Multipsk is a digital multimode decoder.
