NTE doesn't _have_ a "line" of stuff. That company started out competing with
ECG (at that time owned by Sylvania and later by Philips) and SK (RCA) and
other lines as a way for repair techs to obtain replacement parts for
consumer electronics. Most of what they have to offer is simply re-badged
parts from other mfrs. I've never been all that fond of NTE because their
numbering system was used by ECG first, and they simply copied it.

Are they? I have a guitar amp here that uses one at the input, and it's very
noisy. I thought I might be able to improve that by replacing the FET but it
didn't help it much.
