But that's just a double-balanced mixer, of which there are many - some 
operating to about 40GHz or maybe more.  A DBM isn't the same as an I/Q 
demodulator.  In order to make an I/Q demodulator you would need 2 DBMs, 
a 2-way splitter, a 90 degree phase shifter, at least one variable-gain 
amplifier and maybe some other bits as well.  The I/Q demodulators do 
all this on a single chip.
