Does anyone on this list own or have experience with the
SDR1000? I've been home brewing the SDR printer port demux
and the AD9854 DDS. The DDS seems to work ok, the frequency agrees
with the on screen value. And with my low frequency scope it seems to
be in quadrature. Whe using one of Tony's Softrock5 receiver boards
as a test bed I notice that the image balance will change with bands
and OSD input tuning (i'm using a preselector). How good is the SDR 1000
will image balance hold over all the bands? I've noticed on the SDR
ZERO receiver website that they talk about using a Guanella transformer
rather than a standard 1:4 as used in the SDR 1000 I also notice image
balance problems caused by the unbalanced input of a standard
transformer.
I also have a question on one of the Printer port signals if you use
the Flex software.
