as you know I am against all subjective tests .
This will drive us in the range of "audiophiles" or "magician electronics ".
We can and have to measure .
With Ciao Radio when it is used in AM with the AM demodulator that implement
the law of the envelope detector you clearly see the distortion coming in
the spectrum window of the demodulated signal ( even with dynamic signals ).
When you use the coherent AM demodulator of Ciao Radio , you don't have this
distortion and the signal is clearer .
This is amplitude non linearity .
The same is for delay group ( non linearity of slope of the phase )
distortion effects that , if I remember well , came out with the use of two
signals ( two tones ).
Looks that Dan has the same idea about .
On the other hand you designed and have in your site a fantastic tool for
generating a two tone signal .
