It does not matter at all. The result would be the same:-) In case you only want the result of the summed streams, it will of course be most efficient to do the summation as early as possible. (On the raw data) In Linrad, the two input streams are combined to two output streams, one with the polarisation of the desired signal and another that is orthogonal. Then it does not matter at what point the the combination is made. 73 Leif
