Dan- Thanks for putting your LTSpice phase splitter files up on the website.
A couple comments: Instead of plotting V(i) and V(q) separately, plot V(i)/V(q)to visualize the quadrature and amplitude match more easily and with greater resolution. I notice you have K L1 L2 1 (the coupling factor set to 1) in your examples. Though it won't make a huge difference (probably only in the hundredths of a degree over a narrow freq. range which is a don't care)to accurately model the transformer the K should be less than 1 (maybe .97 to .99 for bifilar wound toroids). Physically I don't think you can achieve a K of 1. Thanks again. -Ray WB6TPU
