Ray I figured the the coupling or K would be around .97 to .98 with a toroid core and bifilar winding. The simple transformer I used in the LTSpice models used K1 and so I tried it. But I figure that what you say is more correct. I will try modeling the I Q as you say and see what we get here.
So far it looks like that, if I want to model mixers I might have to use the libraries in PSpice based upon the Digikey catalog of parts. Dan
