"Have you already considered 7360's or 6AR8's as demodulators?" Well I have looked at the 12AU7 and wondered if it would go up high in HF. But two Pentagrid convertors seem most likely.
I will will get my RCA Tube handbook and llo at the 7360's and 6AR8's. Now for my comment of people who rather I choose a project that suits them and their technology. or the product (IC chips) they are pushing or preferring to be used. I know I am not going to work on circuits for these new chip companies to push their chips. I know engineers here on the Internet looking for ideas to take back to the company. We hams do all the work, and they profit from it and we do not. We do free research and so they do not have to pay for it. I will then pick and choose my own projects and I don't give a damn if anyone thinks the idea is obsolete. If they want me to work using one of their chips. I went to college to become a electronics tech and so you have to pay me to work on your ideas. I work on contract, with signed on the line signatures. Till then I will offer up for free those ideas that appeal to me. And how so rude some fellows are to be honest, I try to be nice but I am the worst fellow there is to cuss you out on the Internet. Piss me off and I will. Think you know me hunh? Thats my comment about it all. --- In [email protected], "Jose A.
