Gentlemen, I've brought this message over from the Softrock group. I have just built a Softrock V9 and feel I have a problem in Winrad in that the signal meter is a constant S9+ on noise. When using Rocky everything is fine. Checking the audio levels on my Delta 44 soundcard in Winrad the levels sit at approx -6 dB on noise going into the red on peaks and impulse noise which causes ticks on the audio. Using Rocky levels are noise -18 dB and on strong signal -6 dB no ticks. I was thinking about an attenuator in the audio input to the sound but this might this reduce sensitivity. I would appreciate any comments.
