There is no way that an attenuator will be needed. Where do you get your Rocky level? On the spectrum display mine is close to 0, -54dBFS in status bar, just on-board sound. Are you sure you have not got a massive earth loop or hum? How fast is your computer? 73 Alan G4ZFQ
