Hello Fred, Well, I started continuing to use the SPL library from Intel, which I am familiar with. But I have now two other choices.... the first is to update to IPP (Intel Performance Primitives), which is maintained by Intel, while the SPL has been declared as obsolete, and no more maintained... the other alternative, which I am seriously considering, is to switch to the FFTW3 package, open source, and available also on other platforms. The disadvantage of using the FFTW3 library is that I would lose all those very handy functions, not strictly related to FFTs, like vectors manipulation, FIR filters computation, and many other mathematical functions which in the SPL are hand-coded in assembly language and highly optimized.... If you or anybody else know of an open source and optimized library of such functions, I would like to know it. Thanks. 73 Alberto I2PHD
