Hello I am using it, basically to write software for (Linux though). Inherent in the design is the lack on preselection. Furthermore, the sensitivity is (far??) less than on my other radio (a prehistorical Plessey PR155). Nevertheless, I use it (apart from software experiments) for MW reception, SW reception (49 Meter band), 7 and 14 M reception (digital modes mostly). A simple preselector is worthwile. Often I use a simple ferrit antenne for the MW and around. The sensitivity above app 16 Mhz decreases, although I do use the card to listen to (local) CB. I was looking at the preselector kit by the inventor, however, has been kept busy with a nasty software bug (and holidays). Recently I started to look around for another affordable kit. best jan
