Thank you very much for the info. Regarding the need for a preselector, I found the man on bobsamerica.com has the best advice on preselectors ever. Here is the link http://www.bobsamerica.com/mfj-956.html Take some time on his site and you will get some excellent preselector ideas. I tried the 4 to 1 transformer on the input and output he suggests, but find his basic design works plenty good for me without them. Dave K0RWM
