Hi, I'm plauged by an OSD issue with my nV video card, so I'm brain storming about possible problems/solutions. It turns out the nVidia Xv blitter port supports "XRGB" but not ARGB (the "XRGB" == upper bits do nothing).
I specifically notice when VDR starts up and there is no video playback, the OSD is fine. The moment video playback starts, the OSD gets corrupted. After all video playback has ceased, the OSD retains it's corruption, even if I change menus, options, etc. Question: Does softdevice do something like grab a "blackframe" or a chroma-key frame when video playback starts, so the OSD does not get removed by the video card's "overlay" functionality?
