Realviz had a program that did that. Autodesk acquired Realviz and now owns it. Might want to check your softimage installer to see if it was included with your cut of Realviz Matchmover.

They had an array of cameras that took around 300 stills of an object and then they were able to generate very dense meshes with albedo maps. Does anyone remember the name of that or is it even a commercial product? I looked back over my notes and couldn't find a name anywhere. Thanks, Byron
