I did a quick test and got the cam and interest animation to Motionbuilder in
.fbx.
If you import the .fbx back in in Autodesk software or the .xsi back in Soft
and it looks good, then unfortunately their (Fusion) importer is lacking.
It could also be that you cut the camera hierarchy/constraint relation with the
effector in soft and their importer is not liking this.
Perhaps their importer would be happier if you kept the cam hierarchy in place
but just removed the constraint the cam has to the effector then do the export,
(leave the effector there).

If not then copy the animation to a null and export to fbx..and attach their
cam to the null.

Subject: Exporting issues

Hey all -

I have a scene that was created in MatchMover 2013 (VBS export - the only thing
that works with Softimage...).

I'm now trying to export the scene to Eyeon Fusion and I'm having all sorts of
problems getting the camera data out.

I've tried dotXSI which normally works, but when I bring it in to Fusion I only
see RealvizCam with animation applied on Angle of View - no other channels.

I've also tried exporting the entire scene as an FBX, but same issue. The
camera contains nothing but animation on AOV. Looking at it in Soft I can see
animation on FOV, POSX, Y, Z and ROTX, Y and Z.

Any idea what's going on?

Thanks,

Paul
