We do not run linux, but we have customized RR pre-and-post-render
quite a bit. We are able to have RR automatically reconnect to
different workgroups that contain different releases of third
party renderers associated with a project per render job. And
Holger has always been responsive to our questions. We've been
using RR for many years now. I can not say enough good things
    about it.

So anyone using tractor? We are about to switch to a new
dispatcher since rush is... Let's just say that it hasn't
changed much the last 5 years. So we are testing everything
        out there.

the submit is commandline based, so it will work with just
        about any program.

All I get is this error message (from the manager, carl is the

carl Cmdjob adapter: Process exit abnormally,Exit code is 1

        Here is the submit command.

        /usr/discreet/backburner/cmdjob -jobName:SoftimageRender_2
        -workpath:/usr/discreet/backburner -logPath:/tmp

Anyone been able to use it on Linux? I've been trying to get
        it up and
running, and so far I can submit jobs.... but it never starts
        to render...
        errrrrgh..

So if anyone have any helpful tips it would be most welcome.
