Oh Im still behind Softimage all right, its just it being under Autodesk is
leaving such a bitter taste that im kind of forced/willing to try
alternatives. whatever happens its still good for a good few years as it is
:) Phil may be seeing a pattern here that others who were not familiar
beforehand with AD tactics of sucking all original staff into other areas
or making them leave. And I agree this is my biggest fear with Softimage,
the stagnation that is made evident with combustion / composite / toxic /
bundled free in a suite whatever, insisting its not EOL, but really it
is. that didnt exist 4 years ago,but seeing this together with the news
of the recent layoffs on top of all the original Softimage staff that used
to be on here but no longer, well theres plenty of evidence to show that
whilst there may not be any 'evil master plan' AD, from my perspective, is
still f*cking up Softimage.

self fullfilling prophecy? more like rage against the machine, pissing into
the wind, whichever way you see it :)

@Dave, you are of course right, it definitely should not be personal and
should be more cooperative.

Maurice, Everyone, I am angry but sincerely apologise, this or any
discussion here really should not be personal and no doubt Maurice is good
at his job fulfilments in the other areas of AD empire, but this particular
discussion IS about something that means a lot to me. deep breath count to
ten kind of thing.

Maurice, next time you have another bright idea concerning Softimage,
perhaps you want to run it by this list first? :)

@Matt now that would be superb indeed, would learn to code if that happened
or eat my hat for sure ;) but if it did happen after a few years it would
be infinitely more trouble for Maya than a small stone in the shoe.

Best

Rob
