In place upgrades or clean install? As you know, with any clean install of windows, you run a risk of missing dlls, like the various c runtime libraries that have been installed over the year and lord knows if the plugins handle that well. For sure you need to plan some time to investigate why certain plugins fail to load all the sudden.
