Hi Bryan

The Image node is this SPDL:
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Softimage 2013 SP1\Application\phenolib\spdl\sibase\txt2d-image-explicit.spdl

Maybe you should re-install (or Repair if that works).

Thanks

Stephen

Thanks Stephen. I've restarted my Machine. I've copied these directories from another computer where it is working and overwritten them on the faulty one. Some nodes have appeared but for example the image node hasn't. Could you tell me what the name of that node is as an example? Maybe something crazy has happened with permissions on this comp etc.

Thanks for the help.

Do you mean that the nodes are missing from the Preset Manager?

    Check the Softimage install folder.

    In particular, check

    C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Softimage 2013\Application\phenolib\spdl
    C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Softimage
    2013\Application\phenolib\spdl\mibase

In a working Softimage installation, like mine :), the content of
the Preset Manager is determined by spdl/mi files in those folders
    (and perhaps others too).

    For example, if I delete

    mia_lens_bokeh.spdl
    from
    C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Softimage
    2013\Application\phenolib\spdl\mibase

Then "Bokeh (mia") disappears from the render tree preset manager.
If I put it back, and refresh the preset manager, the shader
    re-appears.

Maybe you should try a restart of the machine, just to be sure it
    isn't some transient problem.

        Hey All,

Quick question, i've loaded of soft this morning and all of my
nodes other then the MetaSL stuff are gone :O If I load a
scene and grab a shader I've made then I can copy nodes over
from one material to another no problem so the preset files
are there its just the RT isn't picking them up. Any ideas?
         Anyone had this before?

        Thanks

        Bry
