Wouldn't a bit of file renaming do it?  How are the subframe cache files
named?  I remember it being something like:

name.1.1.icecache
name.1.2.icecache
name.1.3.icecache
name.2.1.icecache
name.2.2.icecache
name.2.3.icecache
...
...
